Porch Gate for a Friend

A teacher friend of mine has two young dogs. One is a Boxer English bulldog mix and the other is Pug puppy. To keep the dogs on the front porch a little gate was needed to enclose the porch. Made from pine and through bolted the Z brace and screwed the pickets, it should hold up fine. It was primed with a tinted primer and finished with a glossy black water based enamel. The diamond applique on the front is made out of plaster and finished to resemble cast iron. Now my friend can keep her dogs from darting out into the busy street.

Nice gate bro. Not tall enough for Oso but what barrier was?

Neat looking gate – nice photo of the gate, the house and you (reflected in the glass door :-)).

I see that that is another problem with the new digital cameras. I couldn’t see that I was in the picture. I don’t think that would have happened with my old SLR camera. Thanks for noticing though.
