I had some scrap walnut cherry and QSWO laying around and decided that I wanted to use up the scraps. so I made a checker board and got to use polyurethane on my first project. (This was done before the Pie Crust Table and Just got around to posting it.) So I was playing around with the poly and ended up putting on 12 coats of it. Which is a little excessive but it came out pretty good. I also waxed it to shine it up some.
