This is just a small project i did in between, because i want a funny watch for my dinning room. The window frame is about 200 years old from an old stable and i had it laying around a few years. Then i had the idea to make a watch out of it. I made the 2 picture frames for my kids, choosed a few nice glases and leaded everything together in tiffany style. The spiderweb is a very fine tinned copperwire wich is also leaded together. The movement is recycled from an old watch. This was a very cheap project and i had a lot of fun building it.

Really nice clock, very unique. From the looks of it you had a blast making it. What are the two things haning from the bottom of the frame? Old window brackets?

Welcome to LJs.

yes, that were the hinges and the lock is on top, which was used with a wire.
