Started turning last year and I have to say it is a huge challenge for me to get anything close to usable. Typically I end up with several pieces instead of just one. On the other hand, I enjoy the challenge and find it very different than furniture.

Red bowl is dyed walnut. Flat bowl is elm. Bowl with holes is olive. Black bowl is charred walnut. Hard to leave things as I find them.

Nice bowls. refreshingly simple and restrained.
