First couple cutting boards made for friends with their wood preferences. I created the center squares first, then built the rest of the boards around them. Finished with just butcher block oil. Thanks for looking.

That is a very beautiful board. The colors are fantastic. I too would love to know what woods you used.

Thanks for the kind words.
The first board from the center out: Cocobolo, BE Maple, Zebra, Hawaiian Koa, Rosewood, Wenge.
Second Board: Purpleheart, Curly Maple, BE Maple, Zebra, Hawaiian Koa

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Cocobolo, Koa and Wenge in a cutting board together. Probably because of cost. Some nice wood. Looks great.

Those would look great just hanging on the wall. I especially like the result of the first one. Great job and thanks for sharing.
