Red Oak Doves

When I seen Dusty’s beautifully designed stained glass memorial with the Dove, it reminded me of this.

I made this back in 1984.

The Doves are Red Oak, with Apple wood for the background.

The pieces are glued to 1/8” plywood.

The Frame is Red Oak, 9” X 11’’ O.D.

This is a good way to use up scrap wood.

I saw the first picture and I thought “who is the LJ? This looks like Dick Cain’s work”.. and I closed the pictures and checked out the woodworker—and there was his smiling face!!!! :)
Beautiful
