My son is a music major at Texas A&M – Commerce, and he is pledging Tau Beta Sigma. One of his projects was to decorate a paddle for his big sister. Instead of buying a paddle and decorating it he asked me to help him build one. This is the first project we’ve done together over a year because he’s been so busy (and living out-of-town since August).
Trevor and I cut out the design on my tablesaw and with a jigsaw. The edges were refined on the router table. I sanded it to 220 grit, painted the black and orange, and Trevor took it with him at the end of Spring Break and did the rest himself. I think it turned out great!
