maple slab desk and bench

I posted maple slab bench two weeks ago.
Now the desk (you may call a table) is finished.
I used same maple slab from the same log. Looks like desk slab is the inner part.
Since the wood is spalted and one side has been reduced, it created a balance problem
when I attached legs. When the legs were placed two inches from the each edge, it was not
looking good. Symmetry was not working when one side is reduced as shown in the picture.
I made legs and supporting parts again and put the left leg 6 inches to the right,
then it looks much better.
Simple but very useful for laptop use with a cup of coffee.

Nice looking project. Fits well in the room. I prefer the spalted side out, as you have it in most of the pictures.
