Well this is now most likely my last woot project, unless I get up really early and make another lamp shade tomorrow. My wife will be landing around 11 am tomorrow, so tonight I need to clean up and do some laundry, and clean up some more.
This is a lamp made from ash, I think it would look great on a nightstand, it is finished with shellac, mostly while it was on the lathe, but after a light sanding with 600 grit, I did one more circular motion coat of shellac, to kind of remove the horizontal ridges you get with lathe style finishing.
the ” Wife’s out of town” (woot) projects have been a lot of fun, but I miss her too.
Thanks for checking it out,

Nice one again and for sure. Our craft needs you to be careful. You, already, produced many master pieces in your wife’s absence.

Very nice looking lamp. I love the natural outer edge that you preserved on the base.
