Two small handy tools.
The flush cutting saw is very handy to cut off plug head without scratching
a surface since the bottom side of the saw is flattened using polishing stone.
The depth gauge sold for tire groove measurement can measure
up to only 25mm. To cover this limitation to usable height gauge , I have attached
x and z axis movement with sliding dovetail.
I made these two about a year ago and found very useful.

Could you post a pic of the bottom of the saw? Is the blade raised a bit???

The bottom is completely flat.
I simply polished the bottom side of the saw blade using
diamond polishing stone then glued to the block.
