While my Wifes out of town… Box Elder with on the lathe french polish, final coat is bees wax. I love this bowl, phenomanal red streaking, a little figure. Also pictured black walnut, also with a lathe french polish. On these bowls I was trying to undercut the rim, slightly enclosing it, I think it leaves a very nice looking form. Just staying out of trouble and revealing natures beauty.

The french polish definitely brought out the color of the box elder. Nice work.
