My young nephew’s grandfather recently passed on. He asked if I could make him a display for his grandfather’s flag. I was a little challanged to make true 22.5 degree angles on the bottom so I decided to make it using all 45 degree angles and triming it out on the front in a manner that I thought still looked appealing. Made from solid oak with 1/4 inch plywood back and a glass front. The back is screwed on for removal to insert the flag. Stained Pecan and sprayed with laquer. Maybe not the most challanging project but one I enjoyed and one I will remember.
