i just finished this jewelry box, as i seem to be enjoying doing boxes as of late, this one is made of walnut , curly maple, oak, heart pine and padauk, the tray on top has removable separators , the trim piece on the bottom and top has inlay of walnut maple and padauk, in the very bottom of the box i used heart pine to elevate the top tray as i find the color of heart pine was a good contrast with the walnut, i saw this piece of walnut with such a nice grain pattern that i knew i had to do a box of some sort, and this is what popped into my head, thank you for taking a look at it and for any comments you leave behind…

Mitered corners….....and they look good…..........another medal on your chest…..definitely on a roll…..........I’ll never even find your trail, let alone catch up!! You really seem to be having fun.

45 deg and melting finally….....finally… you don’t miss breakup….......(-:

We have a house down in La Conner, Washington now, vacation house. Don’t even have furniture in it, but Sherie was down there a couple weeks ago and the daffodils were in bloom in the fields, raised for the bulbs. So you know where we will try to spend some winter and breakup time from now on…...........

PS…...and no, no new bandsaw yet…..too many distractions…....too much work…........

Beautiful job Grizz. You been holding out on us. Making us look foolish, this is just AWESOME. I love it buddy. Gorgeous walnut, but the other woods compliment it just great. You got magic hands my friend. Nice Work, mike

Another gem Grizz, you must be on some really cool health food. You are showing a range of projects that I never thought were in your interest, keep on surprising us, great work.
