a simple segment bowl

hi just a simple little bowl this one is made out of a piece of Chery that was laying around the workshop for a long time cant remember where i got it but i thought it was time i made something out of it so this it what it ended up as a bowl i put some purple heart to give it a little lift .
it is 12inch at the rim it is 4 1/2 high and 5 inch at the bottom the are 73 pieces in this bowl
it is finished with 8 coats of tongue oil
all comment good or bad welcome

I’ve been practicing with some pine. I’ve got some cherry stashed away, i think this helps me decide what i’m using next!
