This automaton is made from european lime and MDF. It has a crank handle which turns the pedal cog from below. This makes him cycle and nod his head (on a spring). Arm moves back and forth on handle. I was going to finish him with a rusty iron finish… never got round to it!

Andrew, I love all of these automata things that people make out of wood. You did a great job on this.
