My wife has a friend name Cathy that needed an additional cabinet to match her existing kitchen cabinets. It is made from pine plywood and furniture grade pine for the face frame and doors. The stain was custom mixed to match and top coated with lacquer.

The cat is Cathy’s quality control inspector and it looks as if it was accepted.

Beautiful job on the cabinet, obviously the quality control inspector has a lot of confidence in your ability to hang it :). Thanks for posting.

That really looks great!

I’m still trying to figure out how the cat jumped up there without banging his head….

I’m still trying to figure out why cats do anything! Gorgeous work. I’m sure she loves it.

Thanks for the comments, but I wonder how many noticed in the background of image # 2 the shelf pin jig? That is one of the jigs designed by Norm on New Yankee Workshop. I have used it for many years. How many people have jigs taken from NYW?

Perfect match and good thing you made a bed for the cat up there! I noticed the jig as I was looking at the pics and your shop. I just made one last week for a Entertainment Center I’m Building. Couldn’t see paying Rockler 30 bucks for something I could make….. Your finish work is flawless! I’m sure she was very happy!
