Okay so saw this design on here done by SPalm and thought it would be a great gift. So started this over the weekend using the plans and suggestions by SPalm and let me say that it was quite a challenge! Took me about a week of cutting, gluing, sanding and finishing to get it ready for the weekend to give as a gift to my Mother. I think it turned out really well and used Salad Bowl Finish on it. (really great stuff if you read my review on it.) The woods are Oak, Walnut, and Mahogany. Hope you all enjoy.
Here is the link i used to recreate this project.

Thanks SPalm!
