Wine Barrel Deck Chair Wine Barrel Deck Chair No-picture-s Click the pictures to enlarge them

This stylish but comfortable deck chair will bring years of use and pleasure to any deck or patio. Unlike many other Adirondack chairs you can easily get in and out of it with little effort. Constructed entirely from a single wine barrel this sturdy chair has 5 coats of finish to protect it from the elements.

Very Cool! Is the stain/finish from the wine or is that something you produced? How are you sealing them?

My wife would kill for a set of these.

Great Idea, and a fantasic chair… though, I fear you misunderstand the point of an adirondack chair – you’re not supposed to get out ;)

Welcome to Lumberjocks! Can’t wait to see what else you’ve made from reclaimed wine barrels!

Love your work and the fact that you give a second life to beautiful old oak. Keep it up.

Hello
I am a new member to your group. the reason that I joined was…........ your barrel chair. i want to make one myself after seeing one very similar in the store here in Calistoga, California. We have lots of wine barrels here and I can get one from a friend of mine pretty reasonable . i want to figure out how to make this chair myself. Now i have to warn every body, that I am not a woodworker, and matter of fact i have never done any woodwork myself. i always admired the work that wood workers could do and promised myself that one day i might give it a try. So this is my “one of these days” project. Better late then never. i am very determined and I know that given my determination I will get it done one way or another. So…......... if there is any way that you can help me start on this I would greatly appreciate it. I would like to how if I need some plans for it or is it done on “as you go ” basis. i was wondering if you have plans or instructions how to make such a chair. I will be happy to pay for it if it is available. please let me know.
Sincerely
luba

These are great. I’ve had enough wine barrels/planter barrels, fall apart to make seating for about 10 folks. Nice design and a great idea. Thanks for the post.
