This was a project I worked on during a workterm with JW Lindsay(a construction company from here).
It was made as a donation for an IWK children’s hospital auction.
Its made entirely of spruce, the siding was all done from 1×6 ripped on a bevel on the bandsaw.
Roof is was done with cedar shingles. There is a mount on the side for a beam to support a swing set. A trap door was made under some counters inside. It cost rougly $1200 in materials and went for just over $5000 at the auction. It was down from a whopping $18000 the previous year.
it took roughly a week to complete with 4 of us working on it. I wish I had the finished painted look but our shop didnt do the finish painting. Shingles and most of the siding were done by just me, and the custom fasia was done by me.
