Hello
I realize a jig to do several wine balancer with using my drill press table
The piece is centered and you block it with the stop block
You can make the hole at the distance you want and it works with different thickness of wood
For the future I think I will put another piece of plywood in the rear of the support to make them stronger
With this jig the angle is 45°
We can imagine a balancer on the support to make all angles you want or you need …....................

Thanks for looking

What is the attachment that is on your drill press? I’ve never seen anything like that. Love the jig. It looks like it sure makes the process a lot easier.

I’ve made several wine bottle holders, but I learned that a simple through hole 90 degrees to the flat surface works better than an angled hole. The base just needs a mitered cut. Still like the jig though!

I agree with Mike. I don’t see the need to cut the hole at an angle. It would seem to me that it would lower the angle of the bottle and possibly not keep the cork fully covered. I just cut a 1 1/4” diameter hole straight through.

@ Bricofleur – Just took a tour of your website. I really like your ideas. I’ll be building some of the real soon. Most of the rest a little later.

Hello
To all thanks for the comments
To Mike and to Closetguy , the idea is just to have an different angle that we can see on different projects on this site
It’s just a personnal spirit to see better the name of the wine
The approach is just different
Thanks for looking and for sharing
