These are not turned vases…they’re done on the ringmaster which can cut each ring at a different angle and then glued up…I used CA glue for each piece…each piece is sanded and shaped by hand…10 coats of finish with a buff and polish at the end…the finish is still in progress 7 coats to go….the reason I stuck all 3 together is to show the lack of waste when using the ringmaster..the larger vase is 8 1/2” tall and 7” at the widest point….this was the first one created…the next largest vase which is 8 1/2” tall and 5 1/2” at the widest point was made from the solid blanks left over from the inside of vase #1…the smallest vase which is 7” and 4 3/4” at the widest point was made from the solid blanks left over from the inside of vase#2…and I made another small project with the solid blanks from vase #3…so little if any waste..I sand and finish the inside of each vase as they are built…I was lucky to get a very figured piece of ambrosia and I like to accent these with a paduak top…thanks for looking…all of my projects are for sale..anyone interested can contact me at marshall56_42@yahoo.com

Marshall,
More realy neat looking vessels. It looks like you have the use of that unit, down pat. I really like them. The contrast is quite interesting.
Cheers!

You have made that ringmaster stand up and sing. Very nice work. I really like the lack of waste.
