I posted this project a couple of weeks ago but I wasn’t completely finished, but I was impatient and posted it anyway. So now I am officially done. I finished this up last night along with my twin twisted pair of lamps. Feels good to get these done because I only had one evening of work to do but kept putting it off for a couple of months now. On to the next one….

This limb came from Central Oregon. The juniper grows in that area like weeds. Ugly trees, but once you clean the bark off they sure have a lot of character.

I was just informed today by a friend that the antler is not a shed but most probable from a couger kill as there is skull attached to the bottom that wouldn’t be there if it was a typical yearly shed. I didn’t even think about the extra bone until he pointed it out, amazing how the little details of things are missed when you don’t know you should be looking for them.
