Well the night stands are finally done. I brought then in today after the final rub out and put together. The first picture are the parts cutout and ready, two is the legs with the ebony inlay installed, 3 is the units in the shop ready for the move, and the lasts one are installed in the bedroom. The wife is please so that is great. I have a chest of drawers to build and that room will be done.

They have a coat of WB Garnet shellac for a seal, a coat of light cherry stain, and 7 coats of WB lacquer.

Thanks for looking

Very cool! Love the angled corners – I was wondering what the triangle pieces were when looking at the first picture. It became clear when I saw the finished works.

Great Job!

Those are some good looking night stands. It’s good to see the pictures in progression, even if you’re making most of us look bad. I always get my head down and start working and forget about posting pictures. The lamps in the last pictures, did you make them too? They’re also nice.

Nice looking night stands. Really like the lamps, they make a nice match for the night stands. I’m retired and a Hoosier also.

Thanks for looking guys.
I can’t take credit for most of the pictures, the wife keeps things up to date for me. Yes the lamps are also mine, We have found a furniture line we really like and I kinda of fashion my stuff after that. Lots more pieces to make, but it keeps me out of trouble.

Very nice, I love the look of the mitered corners and the dark wood accents. Did you also make the lamps?
