It is good of a man to honor his tools.

Homage to your tools.
That is very nice of you.
Take care of our tools, and they will take care of us.

I just sharpened 48 new pencils this morning for my shop. Maybe I should have got some #4 or harder that will last longer like your green friend there.

48 pencils? I think that counts as a completed project. You can hit the hammock for the rest of the day :)

Now, that is one great pencil. A great tribute to a fine wooden friend.
I’m afraid I don’t have a favorite one. I’ve been using all three that are at my table saw this morning. Well, I guess the one that is out of lead is my least favorite one right now. That only leaves two that I never can put my hand on right when I need it.
Brrman…..watch out for your lead intake, OK?

Mafe the tool-maker has more pencils that i ever have seen, so if he is going to do the same he need to make small chairs for the rest of his life :D
