4/4 Walnut, Poplar, Oak, Yellowheart and Ebony Eye with BLO finish

Made both at same time… the oak fins and eyes were the only pieces I had to cut twice. So technically one of them has an improper color scheme but oh well. I couldn’t flush him down the toilet (or put him in the scrap pile).

They are about 8” tall.

Haven’t taken the plung into intarsia yet but really enjoy the great intarsia projects posted here on LJ. Yours are no exception. Thanks for sharing.
