This is a small book shelf I made for my oldest daugter (8). I got 3 4’x4’ pieces of white melamine from craigslist and I had 20lf of alder laying around so here it is. The tops are edge glued with biscuts. The entire thing is screwed together using pocket screws. I added the alder face frames to cover the exposed particle board. I HAD to paint it white because the warden (wife) made me. I wanted to stain the alder and leave it at that but, nope, overruled! Enjoy.
