This box was a gift to my Grandmother. It’s the same design as the last box that I did but with different woods and a different finish. This one is Ambrosia Maple and Mahogany. It is finished with 2 coats of Waterlox and then about 4 coats of spray on poly from Minwax. I like how it came out overall and enjoy the high gloss finish, the last one had more of a matte finish and I loved that too, different woods though.
Any suggestions or insights are welcome, always looking to learn what you guys think either way. Thanks for checking this one out.

Tommy, nice looking box. The finish looks Great! Ilike glossy. Nice tight gaps on the box, and even. Good job! No flocking?

Tim, yeah I wanted to flock it but pressure from the wife to have it “ready”...I just gave in. Plus, I forgot to buy the flocking atthe store the other day so now I need to find a local place that carries or buy on line.
