Here is a Vanity I built for a customer, they asked for a simple flat look, dark stain. Built from Pre-finished Birch, and Maple Plywood, with Baltic Birch Drawers. I came across some used 3/4 extention undermount slides for a good price, and they worked out great for this project, as I was asked to keep costs a low as I could. Finish is a custom stain (Molasess) and 3 coats of WB Poly. I was not asked to install, so I have no pictures yet of the finished bathroom with all the pulls installed.

I’d be really interested in the stain recipe if such secrets could be parted with!

I’d love to tell you the recipe, but I don’t have it. I use a local paint store in Edmonton, AB, Walls Alive, they custom mix many stains.. I just picked it out of a few around that colour… turned out good.
