Here’s my take on a utility cart for the shop. It has adjustable shelves and rolls around on casters so you can have it nearby when you need it, and scoot it off into a corner when you don’t. If you want to copy it, you’ll find dimensioned drawings and a lot more details on my blog.

The ugly drips of paint are completely optional.

I have such a utility cart I got from my bank’s junk pile. Its first life it rolled about the bank with account files atop it. It even has a spring loaded adjustment for height. It is well used in my shop. You have the immeasureable satisfaction of utilizing your own craftsmanship. Well done!
