This desk is made of reclaimed Louisiana cypress. It is an exact reproduction of an original piece that was found in south Louisiana. All of the corners are worn down to show wear. We put a provincial stain to give it some color, then applied a hand rubbed wax finish.

Nice work on the reproduction desk. I really like working with cypress too. Being from south Louisiana, cypress is relatively easy to get and at a reasonable cost.
