Here is a child stool that I made for my daughter who is turning three in a couple of days. I just went with a simple design that was easy and durable. Looking back on it i should of made the top step bigger. Oh well the next one I will.

I used red oak for all of it with black walnut for the screw plugs.

Dimensions are 10” Height x 9 1/2” Deep x 12” Wide.

For the Finish I wiped on some Boiled Linseed Oil to help protect it from some water splashing.

hope you enjoy.

Nice step stool. I made some for my nephews years ago, and routed their names in the top board with the date. I like the walnut detail. Great idea.

Up we go!
Sweet it is.
It reminds me of the days where my daughter (now 11) was brushing her teaths standing on a step stool.
Big smile,
Mads
