Maple, dyed, satin laquered, burned rim.Approx. 15×15 cm, wall thickness 2 mmNo light inside.
It was so much fun applying the dye as some light seemed to pop out.

Beautiful piece – love the dye! Almost looks like there is a little tealight candle burning in there.

PaplouI used two colours – yellow and red.I dripped them on with a brush – one drop next to the other

I thought it was like stained glass, I was questioning what that glass piece had to do with wood!
