Oak mantle with plywood boxing. Covered with paneling & pine edging. Baseboard & crown molding were used at the bottom and top of both tiers.

Turned out very nice!! Well done! What product did you paint it with? and how did you apply it?
Beautiful piece!!

Im assuming you had the timbers lying around, as that is quite a lot of wood to be covering up

Looks wonderful, very well done. I would however have a concern about the amount of cooling that is available for the t.v.

@standfir I used Latex Semigloss Water based, Brushed on

@kellerbomb I have approximately 8” on either side of the TV and the bracket is spaced about 3-4 inches from the wall.
