My grown daughter has always loved the Smurfs, so I made her this box for Christmas.
It was carved with a Dremel. Made from Figured Maple and Mahogany, and Ebony
——Tung oil finish

Thanks for looking

Very nice piece, I am sure she will enjoy it. The only thing that I can carve with a Dremel is a mess.

Very nice design. I like the overall look of the box. Aren’t Smurfs BLUE?

Hiya Kent,

Stellar job on the box you made for your daughter….beautiful wood choices.. I like the splines you added to it. Really sets it off nicely….I figure she’s pretty proud of it, since her dad made it for her…..see you next time I’m in Lubbock. I hope they got all the streets fixed by then…..:))
