A fun little project from scrap wood around the shop. Got the idea to make a Giant Chill Pill. Turned into the basic shape between centers, mounted in a 4 jaw chuck and then parted off. Once the project was sanded it was painted with cheap dollar store acrylic paints.
Made the perfect joke when handed to my wife with the phrase, “Babe, just take a chill pill.”

She just laughed and then gave me a scolding look as she saw the pile of saw dust that I tracked into the house. She likes to say that she lives with a termite because there’s always little piles of wood shavings and saw dust all over the house.

I like this idea! You could add weights to one end to make into a weeble-like pill—it would wobble but it wouldn’t fall down.
