this is a entry table made from bubinga and maple there is a square bowl that fits on the lower bracing that can be taken out I think it looks just as good on top of the table as it does down below. The finish is lacquer then steel wool and some wax buffed out after. I did have wedge tenons coming through the top but when it was finished one of the wedges was way bigger than the others three so i drilled them out about a 1/4” down and put some sapele in it wasn’t what i was wanting but it still turned out ok.

How thick is that top? It’s beyond beautiful. Did you have to re-mortgage the house to pay for it? Really nice job.

I sometimes have the problem with the wedges with through tenons. Hate it when that happens. However, I love the tenons in this table- even if you had to do a save- you can’t tell and it looks great. The grain on those woods is fantastic!
