The bathroom medicine cabnet we had before looked like it was made of paint stir sticks, I needed a change so this one is made of sapele ebony and koa it looks much better. the hinges are ebony that I was actually able to tape to a 10-32 screw and i used a nylon washer between the two peices of ebony. It’s held closed by two magnets that are in two of the ebony plugs on the mirror side and drilled in from the backside of the cabinet sidethe finish is watco danish oil and poly.thanks for looking.

It’s beautiful, and a great project. I don’t quite understand how your ebony hinges work. Thanks for posting.

Yours is really a unique and clean design, especially the great looking hinges, and the pull to compliment them. Kudos and 5 stars!
