This is a project I completed recently.
My client wanted to upgrade his small study room, increasing storage and hiding the boiler in the corner.
I came up with a design and used sketchup to plan the project.
I used veneered oak mdf with a solid oak edge trim for the desk and shelving unit, and made simple panel doors with solid oak frame and veneered mdf panel.
Finish is my favourite Osmo polyx oil.
The main problem with this job was the fact that it was a tiny room and not one wall was anywhere near square, a bit of a headache but sorted with a lot of scribing.
I also did a the living/dining room and hallway in solid oak flooring.
Sorry for rubbish photos but the room was so small I couldn`t get far enough away to get it all in.
