I have made all these plaques over the years. I would like to redo them all out out beetle Kill, but they are such a pain to mount, I will probably just live with it unless the wife says they can go in the big living room. The trim for the wallpaper border was made from 3/4×1/4 strips of pine with a 45 chamfer on the edges. It enhances the border and helps hold the paper down along the edges. I ran it through the table saw extra fast so that it would look more rough cut like it was from the mill. I also did the entire office trim in pine including base, door, and window with 3” wide pieces. The mule deer border I had to put lower from the celing so that the big rack plaques would not cover it. I just did the family room with the elk border and wood trim to match the office. The big rack in the first pic I had bronze coated in case you wondered why it is so dark. 5 racks are ones I’ve taken and the others were passed down from family.
