mom liked the first one i made so she asked me to make her another for a friends birthday with the same tree and the ladys initials. its 7”x 9”x 3.5” made from maple and cherry scraps that have been doing laps around the shop. i really need a cut off bin…

Excellent job on that box. That will make a very nice gift- an heirloom probably too. thanks for sharing…...Jim

The tree design accually came from an image taken from a lord of the rings pic so i cant take credit for that. i just love all things celtic and like to use that theme in my pieces. the finish is just spray shellac.
