Guitar speaker cabinet based on the old ‘Sweet Sixteen’ theory. 16 4” woofers in a 24”x24” OD slot ported box tuned to roughly 40hz. I really made this to go with the Cigar Box Bass 2 stringer I made a couple of weeks ago. All 3/4” plywood construction. Jet Black speaker cabinet carpet covering. Heavy duty Dayton handles. Stack-able corners. Dual 1/4” jacks on plate with a fuse on the back panel. Front panel is easily removed so speakers can be replaced with 4 10” drivers if needed later. Grill cloth is vinyl covered heavy-duty fiberglass ‘pet/childproof’ screen from Lowes. Sounds pretty good for a $20 speaker cabinet! (I already had the 16 drivers removed from old equipment about 25 years ago and used once since then in two Bose 802 clones for small PA work. This is their third life, recycled I reckon!) Basically a ‘practice’ amp, not for road use or heavy duty giggin’. Thanks for lookin’. I know it’s not fine furniture type woodwork this time, but it is wood!
