Business Card Holder

Inspired by Junji’s holders ...this is my take.

Maple and walnut. 3 coats wipe on poly.

External Dims are 2 1/5” wide x 4 1/8” tall x 7/16” thick. This turns out to be a pretty nice size for me. I was worried about it being to bulky and not practical to carry around when needed…but not so.

The maple is about 3/32 thick…plenty strong. It holds about 13 business cards.

I put this one together for myself to try it out…now it is in the idea bank for as a quick gift where appropriate.

Thanks, for looking.

Really like how you made the top to keep cards in place. I will have to try and make one. Are you going to blog how you made it?

I like the look and happen to need one so thanks for posting! One thing though why the holes on the bottom instead of one piece?

Hacksaw – Great question and I guess the way I was thinking about it was that with an open bottom, lint and grit and whatever else finds its way into my pocket, won’t collect inside the case. I also put poly on the inside and the open bottom made that much easier…and I was fearful of the odor lingering inside the closed up space.

So…all of those things, I guess.

Thanks for looking, can’t wait to see your take on it!
