A new jewelery box i just finished. Exotic and domestic woods, two tier, two trays, lacquer finish. Should have swept out the trays before taking pics. Will post new ones if thats possible. Please give me feed back as this is the type of woodworking im interested in and wonder if there is a big market for it out there.

Thanks Rob

its a beautiful box you have made..lots of creative things going on there…as to the market…i guess finding the right place to try and sell is the key…to me with this being so nice and its good solid wood working…folks would want something like this…but the key is finding where you can sell good work…and have the right price…good luck…your work is beautiful

This is very interesting with different kinds of wood. There is a market for it but I cannot say if that would be a big market! Regions vary greatly and also the seasons will affect sales, I find the fall months best for me as people buying for Christmas gifts snap things up. January tends to be the tightest month!

It certainly is an interesting and unique design. I don’t see why there wouldn’t be a market. Many people buy things for the simple reason that it is different. Well done, I like it.

Selling your work : that’s a hard one. It’s hard to figure out what people want. I think you should make stuff that you like and try to sell that. Looking at your box i think the idea is beautiful. Have fun with exploring the possibilities!!
