This is the first of spinning tops made for the local hospital stall.
It helps in a small way towards buying equipment for the local hospital.
It all comes from scrap pieces of wood I have been saving that has been mounting up & crying out for something to be done with it.
I am putting out a challenge to all jocks to use those scrap pieces for a worthy cause. It does not absorb a lot of time & you will get some satisfaction out of it.

Doing intarsia, that’s all I use is scrap wood, LOL!!!
Seriously tho’ Grumpy, these little tops are awesome! You made these and now you are donating them to a hospital? Above you say, quote ,
“This is the first of spinning tops made for the local hospital stall”
I am not sure what you mean by stall?
Anyway Grumpy, these look really cool. I’d like to play with one.
I agree tho’ with your thoughts on using the scrap wood for a good cause. Good for you!

Hi Allison. A stall is like a small market stand where you display & sell things. Not sure what you might call it. Definitely not like an aeroplane stall, LOL

Tony:

Nice projects for a great cause. You need to post a few instructions on making these.

I’ve only seen 2 kinds of stalls in my life. One you put a horse in, the other you pass a lot of gas in. I guess you could also play with those little tops in that second stall too. Somethin to keep you busy I suppose. Nice job on those tops. Oh, and FWIW, in these here parts, we call that a Kiosk. Just so’s you’ll know. :) Oh, and we don’t have Bonnets on our cars either. :D
