A few years ago, the local Day Nursery held a fundraiser dinner / auction with a Harry Potter theme. I was asked if I had any extra wands, I donated 7 simple wands, and one which I knew the tree personally and pooled more time into. I included a stand and a small book, both made form the same tree as the wand. In the book was the history of the tree, biological facts about Maple trees, and how the wand was created. I priced the value decently low, but it received a bidding-war and went for over 7 times the valued amount. The last picture are the 7 other wands I donated, which also brought in some good money. I got a great thank you letter, and a tax write-off.

Made money and got a tax write off; Sweet! The bids are a reflection of the craftsmanship and time put into the work. True craftsmanship. Nice job.

Nice wands, but I would like to see more information on that wooden book. What did you use for the rings?
