I made these several years back after I cut down an old apple tree at our last house. I’ve made many other nicer things since, but I keep these as a reminder of what started it out.

Your bowls are really good work (but you know that!) and a real treat to see. Two very different jobs of work, both very successful. Kudos!

Fruit wood makes great turning material. My first was pear wood I had in my stack of fire wood. Apricot is my favorite for color and variety in the grain.
