This is set of kitchen cabinets that I finally put the finishing touches on. House was built in 1900 and we did a total remodel in 2009. Cabinets are made with character hickory lumber. The doors and drawer fronts were made by a relative that builds panels. Also included a couple of ‘before’ pictures!!

nice work…quite the transformation inside and out. i like what you did with the entrance and the over hang
you’ve been busy. are you converting that shed into a garage?

Kitchen looks great, what did you use for a finish on the cabinets? They look darker than “natural.” Did you use a dye or tint?

Just a slight tint so the white doesn’t stand out to much

Did you buy that hickory or harvest it? I don’t know if largewoodslabs came first or later.
If I asked for character, calico, heartwood or sapwood hickory around here the lumberyard guys look dumbfounded.
