That’s very similar to one I recently made, also for grandson. Mine doesn’t have those attractive slots on the front, but I did add “air holes” in the back in case he falls in! I also used a “stay open” brace to keep little hands from getting smashed. The finish was quite different – all purple & gold since we are in LSU country! It has casters which will probably have to come off for now since he pushes it all around the house.
