We got tired of our cheap particle board TV stand falling apart more and more every time we tried to move it a little. So I put this one together. It is made from curly maple, bubinga, cherry and ebony.

That’s a beauty, I like it all but especially the inset shelf for the upper electronics.

That’s a really nice entertainment center. . . a million notches up from particleboard! Thanks for posting.

Nice job Don! I like your variation from the plans on the base. I’d like to see a better picture of the top. Very nice woods!

Nice work, I see you changed up the plans a little. Nice touch. I’m building one right now like this as well. Making mine a little bigger 24” deep and putting a 2” thick top on it with a floating glass shelf. I’m also putting in to glass doors instead of the wood dors.

I like your side panels, I made double raised panels for mine being the flat surface in the plans looked boring.

Well done & thx for sharing. Enjoy

Thats a heck of a lot better than MDF! Love the two-tone look as well!

That would just ‘make’ my entertainment room (of course, I’d have to change out everything else). Your piece looks elegant and the colors give it an Art Deco tilt. Nice work!

“So I put this together.” Wow, did you ever! And put it together very well I might add. I love the wood combination and finish. Beautiful and functional, a very successful build. Well done!
