I have now been a worker of wood for 12 months, this is the 100th project, I have not been overly concerned about quality of my pieces, as I was more interested in getting a lot of experience quickly. I spent a little more time on this one, 26 hours to be exact, still have a ways to go to consider myself to be on any level of expertise, but I am fairly proud of this one!!!
My next project is a Banksia pod sliced and squared to make a feature ring on a vase. I have a couple pics of my progress, and will load them later on. I see now that i am opposed to show the second bowl as a blog, but I am not that talented with the computer. Note the star burst effect on the Banksia bowl, also this is just a dry fit—no glue yet
